The board of county commissioners by ordinance charges an additional court cost, not to exceed $65, to be imposed by the court when a person pleads guilty or nolo contendere to, or is found guilty of, or adjudicated delinquent for, any felony, misdemeanor, delinquent act, or criminal traffic offense under the laws of this state.  This charge is split four equal ways between court innovations, teen court, law library, and legal aid.  The attached contract, Exhibit 1, is for the Board's consideration for Legal Services of North Florida to receive the 25% collections for legal aid services collected every quarter.

Also for the Board's consideration is an attached contract, Exhibit 2, between the Board through the Bay County Drug Court and C.A.R.E. (Chemical Addicitions Recovery Effort) to provide all staff, supervision, equipment, and facilities necessary to provide professional treatment services for the Bay County Drug Court Program.

Staff request that these contracts be approved and the Chairman be authorized to sign all documents to be executed.
