Board:  1) Approve contract extension for Volkert, Inc. Professional Services Contract 18-29, CR 30 Front Beach Road Sidewalk Design, Phase I and II; and, 2) Authorize the Chairman to sign extension for the Contract and make any required contract modifications as approved by the County Attorney.  (District V )

FINANCIAL IMPACT SUMMARY STATEMENT:
LAP grant funds are available for the project CEI in account 0232-5606535. This is in the Infrastructure Surtax Fund.

BACKGROUND:

On February 20, 2019, the Board approved a contract with Volkert, Inc. for the Professional Design Services for the CR30 Front Beach Road Sidewalk Design Project, Phase I and II.  The contract expiration date is November 19, 2019.  Due to impacts from Hurricane Michael, we request the contract be extended to March 8, 2020.
