Funds available in budget 0102-5616302.

BACKGROUND:

County lobbyist's working with the State Legislature were able to obtain funding to assist Bay County with hurricane recovery. The Florida Department of Transportation has appropriated $3,786,773 of these funds to assist Bay County. The funding will be used to stabilize Silver Lake Road and Nehi Road, purchase materials for roadway/shoulder repairs, and to purchase traffic engineering materials.

FDOT submitted a State-Funded Agreement for the project and requests the Board adopt a resolution (Exhibit 1) authorizing the Chairman to sign the agreement. (Exhibit 2) The agreement authorizes expenditures of funds in the amount $3,786,773 for the project with no local match required. The term of this agreement is from the date of final execution of the agreement until June 30, 2021.
