BACKGROUND:

On October 8, 2018, the Board declared a local state of emergency due to Hurricane Michael. Pursuant to Fla. Stat. 252.38, emergency declarations are limited to seven (7) days and may be extended in seven (7) day increments as necessary. Since Hurricane Michael, Chairman Griffitts has signed additional extensions of the local state of emergency declaration.

 

Staff recommends that the Board ratify the attached extensions 40 & 41.
