REQUESTED MOTION/ACTION:

Board a) award the contract to C. W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. for the Roadway Rehabilitation HM Phase I Minor Resurfacing project in the amount of $4,459,206; and b) award a task order to CDR Maguire Inc. for CEI services in an amount not to exceed $445,920 (10%) pursuant to contract #19-04; and c) authorize the chairman to execute and modify the contract as approved by the county attorney.

FINANCIAL IMPACT SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Hurricane Michael project will be FEMA reimbursed.

BACKGROUND:

The condition of much of Bay County’s roadway network was impacted significantly due to Hurricane Michael.  The Roadway Rehabilitation HM – Phase I (Minor Resurfacing) project includes 11.70 miles of road segments (Exhibit 1) that have been identified as being eligible for FEMA assistance for repairs.

On December 3, and 10, 2021 request for bids for the Roadway Rehabilitation HM Phase I Minor Overlay project was advertised.  The following responses were received and opened on January 13, 2022.
