Recommendation:

Board:  1) Award the Base Bid to GAC Contractors, Inc. for the Webber Rd and Sorrells Rd Stabilization Project in the amount of $1,088,886.00; and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract; and, 2) Authorize contingency and testing funds in the amount of $108,888.60 (10%). (District IV)

Recommendation:

Board: 1) Approve the FDOT Utility Work Agreement for reimbursement of the relocation of utilities in the subordinated areas of Phase 1 of the Highway 388 widening and realignment project in the amount of $40,370.00, and 2) Authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement.

Recommendation:

Board: 1) Approve the agreement between Bay County and Gulf Power to design the North Bay Reuse Line from the North Bay Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) to the Gulf Power Lansing Smith Plant and 2) Authorize the Chairman to execute the agreement.

Recommendation:Board: 1) Approve the Joint Participation Agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation and the Bay County, Florida; and 2) Approve the Subrecipient Agreement between Bay County, Florida, and Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc.; and 3) Authorize the Chairman to sign the attached authorization resolution, both agreements, and all related legal documents, subject to final review by the Office of the County Attorney.

Recommendation:Board to provide direction to staff regarding a lease agreement with R&M Entertainment, LLC for use of the areas in and around the MB Miller Pier for the SandJam event.

Recommendation:Board consider authorizing an amount not to exceed $105,000 as 20% local matching funds for Project SoHo under Florida’s Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund (QTI) economic incentive program, as outlined in the Florida Statue 288.106, and adopt the attached resolution Project SoHo as a qualified applicant.
